The dates for Asda’s annual half price toy event have been revealed – and it’s perfect for Christmas presents | The Sun

ASDA shoppers noticed that its annual toy event finally returned over the weekend – and they’re rushing to fill their trolleys with half-price Christmas presents.

The supermarket’s Big Toy Event drops in September every year and is hailed by parents across the country as the perfect chance to get ahead on Christmas shopping.

And while Asda shared no explicit dates for the event, fans of the toy sale theorised it will run for two weeks this year as it has done in previous years.

That means you likely have until October 7 to nab some bargains.

Shopper Michelle Bates popped into her local Asda over the weekend and found shelves upon shelves of discounted toys.

She took to Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK to alert other Brits.

People were quick to dub some of the toys on sale as “steals”, including Lego, Pokemon and scooters.

Hapello Cuddle Squish teddies have been slashed by half price to £10, including hamster, dinosaur, penguin and unicorn ones.

A number of Lego sets, such as Fast & Furious, Duplo and Monster City, are half-price and will give you change from a £20 note.

Unfortunately, the Scentos Slime Collection Set, which was slashed to £7 from £14, has reportedly sold out.
