A WOMAN has claimed to have figured out why so many clothing brands get their plus-sized offerings wrong.
Ashleigh Huish is a size 18, and has enjoyed numerous sell-out ranges of her own clothing designs for In The Style.
But when it comes to other companies, there's a reason Ash won't shop there.
She took to her Instagram Stories to share her theory about plus-size ranges, as she responded to someone pointing out that "no bigger girls" do hauls for PrettyLittleThing.
"That's because they fit like s**t babes," Ash responded.
"Lots of brands PRETEND to be inclusive by making clothes go up to a certain size but what they actually do is just make the clothes wider and longer… so basically they think fat people are big, wide giants. It's bulls**t."

She went on to say that the last time she ordered from the fast fashion website was about four years ago, when she splashed out on some trousers.
"I could have used them as drapes in Buckingham Palace!" she added.
"They were 24 foot long!"
Ash concluded by writing: "It's a no from me.

Speaking previously about where she got her inspiration from for her In The Style collections, Ashleigh explained that she'd spoken to loads of women telling her what they want – "more capsule, durable and extensive to wear pieces".
"When I first was offered my collection I knew I wanted to create collections that would be wardrobe staples for people that they could wear in years to come and were timeless," she said.
"Things that fitted all shapes and sizes and made everyone feel great.
"Every piece has to tick all the boxes.
"Comfort, timeless and wardrobe staples.
"Along with the side of style that relates to me and also nods to current trends too."
Ash's latest range for the retailer is her "cosy collection" which, according to the In The Style website, features "a full range of cute and cosy jumpers, dresses, shackets, hoodies and tops".
As she launched the collection, Ash wrote on her Instagram page: "I hope you love it as much as I do because it’s the most me collection I’ve ever done.
"It’s proper day to day wear that you can mix and match!
"I love it so much!"
And people in the comments section were quick to praise Ash for the fashion offerings, with one writing: "What a beautiful collection!!
"Dress up and down vibes loving it!!"
"You look lovely! I love this collection I’d wear it all," another insisted.
