He went on to note that different fragrance notes last longer on certain areas.

Edible notes such as honey, vanilla, and chocolate will last the longest on your skin, while floral scents last the longest on clothes, according to the scent guru.

Tafah then suggested ironing your favorite fragrance into your clothes.

He explained in a follow-up video that he adds 75 to 150 drops of his favorite fragrance to a fourth cup of water and puts it in his iron for steam pressing.

‘Fragrances that I use are heavier on the warm weather essential oils. For instance, vanilla, black pepper, juniper, cinnamon, and rosemary,’ he said.

‘Those are called warm weather essential oils because they’re conducive [to] heat.

‘You don’t have to worry about the heat from the iron breaking those specific essential oils down.’

Tafah’s next tip was to spray fragrance into the cardboard tube in your toilet paper roll to keep your bathroom smelling fresh.

‘Get a car diffuser and use your favorite fragrance in it,’ he added.

The TikTok star’s final recommendation was to add cologne to your lotion before putting it on your body.

Many commenters thought his tips were over the top and assumed his cologne was overpowering because of how much he uses.

‘The toilet paper is crazy,’ one person responded.

‘No cologne on the stovetop, oven, or dishwasher???? How will she smell you then?’ someone else joked.

‘My first thought is you’re the guy who suffocates everyone in the elevator… and the poor unsuspecting girl who might use that tissue,’ another added.

Despite some of the criticism, there were fans of his savvy scent skills.

‘He’s extra & I like it,’ one viewer noted.
