AMAZON PRIME has landed a deal to show boxing after pulling out of the race for the next package of Premier League rights.
The streaming service will not broadcast any English top-flight football in the 2025-29 cycle.
Amazon Prime did not bid for any rights for UK coverage of the Premier League from 2025-29 cycle, leaving Sky and TNT to dominate the scene.
This month, however, the streaming platform is set to broadcast 20 top-flight matches before the turn of the year.
And on Thursday, Amazon revealed they have partnered with Premier Boxing Champions (PBC).
The network will stream boxing events live from 2024 – but a tweet from the company has revealed it is still unknown what countries can view it.

PBC was founded by Al Haymon – the former manager of Floyd Mayweather Jr – in 2015.
His notable client list includes Deontay Wilder, Andy Ruiz Jr, Manny Pacquiao, Errol Spence Jr and twins Jermell and Jermall Charlo.
PBC's takeover marks an end to US broadcaster Showtime's 37-year stint in boxing.
In a press release Amazon said: "Today, Prime Video and PBC announced a landmark multiyear rights agreement to deliver viewers the boxing industry’s most significant events.
