Gary Lineker ‘vomits all over hotel room’ after taking Snus
Gary Lineker has opened up on facing an hours-long sickness ordeal that resulted from him taking snus which he described as “torture”.
The smokeless tobacco is illegal to sell in the UK but is not a banned substance, and the 62-year-old detailed in a podcast the horrific experience he had after trying it.
Speaking on The Rest is Football, he explained he regretted his choice after opting to give it a go after a few drinks in 2020.
“I got undressed ready for bed and suddenly started to feel really, really dizzy,” he admitted.
He continued: “So I sit on the bed and I’m stark naked, and I’ve whipped this thing straight out my mouth and thrown it in the bin.

“I start to sweat, but I’m freezing. I’m sweating and I’m sweating and there’s a pool on the floor, and I can’t move.
“I’m thinking what the hell have they done to me.
“Eventually I lay on the floor and I crawl to the toilet like a snake, just sliding, that’s the only way I could get there.
“And just before I got to the toilet, I vomit everywhere, it’s on the shower screens, it’s all over.”

After falling asleep, he later woke up and was still in a bad way.
“I’m back on my front, sliding like a snake,” he recalled.
“I got into my bed and I thought I’ll look at the time. It was 7am in the morning.
“I’d had seven hours of absolute torture.”
He recovered from the reaction and went on to present the opening match of the Euros between Italy and Turkey.
In more recent news for Gary, he has become row with Tory MP Lee Anderson.
The Tory deputy chairman took aim at the woke Match of the Day presenter, who is the BBC’s highest-paid celebrity, after Lineker’s latest social media attack on Home Secretary Suella Braverman.
Mr Anderson told Express.co.uk: “It looks like the BBC’s highest-paid publicly funded stars can continue to bite the hand that feeds them. Lineker is laughing all the way to the bank while attacking our Home Secretary.”
