Katie Price confirms Mucky Mansion TV show has been axed as she rents out home for £6k a month | The Sun

KATIE Price has confirmed her Mucky Mansion TV show has been axed and that she's renting out the home for £6k a month.

Former glamour model Katie, 45, bought the £2.2m West Sussex property in 2014 from Tory peer Francis Maude.

But the move confirms reports that her Channel 4 show, where she renovates the historic pile, has been cancelled.

She recently said on her Katie Price Show podcast, "I’m still thinking of renting it, it’s just too big for me. I’m always up in Essex at the minute.

"[I want to] get something smaller. I don’t know. I just think this house gives me bad luck.

"It’s such a good family home but it is too big for me. It’s more of an excuse for the kids to make a mess."

The Sun also told how mum-of-five was convinced the property was "cursed".

"She hates it and never wants to live there again."

Katie was left devastated in 2020 when intruders ransacked the property.

They flooded the upstairs by leaving the taps running – causing thousands of pounds of damage to her newly done-up kitchen.

The trespassers also rummaged through Katie's personal boxes in the loft to see what they could find.

In 2021 her Mucky Mansion was targeted by thieves once again. Katie returned there to find that a haul of personal photographs had been stolen.

Two years before part of the house was damaged by fire as her 10-year-old son Jett’s bedroom went up in flames.

The blaze, which was put out by Katie’s stepdad Paul, started in the first floor bedroom and has left the room and the hallway blackened by smoke.
