Married At First Sight UK stars JJ Slater and Laura Vaughan have sparked rumours that they're dating, after posting cosy photographs on social media together.
JJ, 30, and Laura, 35, both appeared on the 2023 series of MAFS on E4, but their marriagesfailed to work. JJ was originally paired with Bianca Petronzi while Laura married Arthur Poremba on the show.
Following the news of Shona Manderson and Matt Pilmoor's romance, and with rumours about Adrienne Naylor and Nathanial Valentino, MAFS fans now think JJ and Laura could be coupled up.
The pair enjoyed a night out in London together with JJ posting a snap of him cuddling up to Laura on Instagram on Monday, 4 December.
"MAFS Friends (inbetweeners voice)," he captioned the photograph. Laura also posted a photo of her and JJ from the same evening, writing: "Swipe for one of my MAFS best friends @johnjoeslater".
MAFS fans were taken aback by the photos, with many thinking JJ and Laura looked too cosy to be just friends. One person said: "I dont know no friends that sit like thatttt," and a second person said: "They look so good together".
A third commented: "More than friends," and a fourth wrote: "Yes to this couple."
Laura was paired with Arthur on the E4 show, and fans were convinced the couple would stay together. However, at the final vows they decided to part ways.
Arthur gave a heartwarming speech about his feelings for his wife, but Laura said their romance had run its course, and handed back her wedding ring.
Speaking to The Tab about what their relationship now, Laura said: "For me, we’re at our best selves when we’re friends. He will always be special to me, he has taught me a lot, but for now we are where we are and the reasons for us parting ways are still there."
Meanwhile JJ's time on MAFS saw him pair up with not one, but two brides. He was initially partnered with Bianca but their marriage failed to work and JJ swiftly moved on with Ella Morgan, who had split from husband Nathanial.
Ella and JJ re-entered the experiment as a new couple and reached the vow renewals, but decided to part ways and remain friends. JJ has since opened up about their romance, admitting they got intimate together away from the E4 show.
Speaking about his ex, JJ said: "Our relationship was important to both of us, and we are still really good friends”.
