Naked Attraction official trailer from E4 and Max
Channel 4’s controversial dating show Naked Attraction has often been questioned about whether the raunchy method of choosing a date actually results in long-lasting romance.
The show’s first-ever throuple, married couple Abbie and Charlie searched for a third to join their romance, have joined the slew of contestants confessing the realities behind the saucy show.
With the help of host Anna Richardson, Charlie and Abbie whittled their choices from six down to one in their episode earlier this year and ultimately took 22-year-old Lizzie on her first date ever as a trio.
The chef revealed that she had never been on a date with more than one person before but had been wanting to try polyamory.
Lizzie felt she had “a lot of affection to give” but cheekily added that she wasn’t a complete beginner to it all, telling the cameras: “I definitely think I can show them a thing or two.”
Sparks flew over drinks with the cameras documenting every flirty glance as the chemistry built and the show caught up with them two weeks later where Charlie explained they were taking “baby steps” in the relationship but weren’t “officially” a throuple yet.
But unfortunately, it wasn’t meant to be.
Speaking to The Sun Online after the episode aired, which is often months or years after it was filmed, Abbie and Charlie revealed Lizzie was no longer part of their life.
The mother-of-four explained that for six months after filming the trio were inseparable, meeting up for dinners, cinema trips and sweet strolls down the street all “holding hands and it felt normal”.

Sparks were also flying in the bedroom and it all seemed to be destined for a true budding romance but “life got in the way”, according to Abbie.
She explained that despite the “connection” between the three of them, they split up last November largely because of the distance between them and Lizzie, as well as struggling to “find the right balance”.
They are still reportedly looking for the perfect woman to add to their relationship.
