Angry pensioner who rammed bakery customer with his mobility scooter after missing out on the last steak pasty refuses to apologise for slow-motion rampage
This is the most wanted man in Bideford – a pensioner who ran into a man with his mobility scooter in a fury after he bought the last steak pasty in the shop.
Today the man who went viral after footage of the low speed collision was leaked can be revealed as local pensioner Brian Kirkham.
Mr Kirkham lives less than a mile from the pasty shop in the sleepy Devon harbour, where the unsavory scenes took place last week.
When approached by MailOnline as he bought cigarettes from a local petrol station, Mr Kirkham refused to answer questions about why he drove into the man, only replying ‘oh, did I?’
Seemingly wearing the same outfit as when the incident took place and riding the scooter that was initially confiscated by police, Mr Kirkham also refused to say whether it was an accident or to apologise to the man he hit.

MailOnline also revealed he allegedly attacked a Big Issue seller in the town just weeks earlier after trying to run over his dog.
The homeless magazine seller Sam Oates has come forward to claim the man previously tried to run over his beloved dog Demi and, when he complained, jumped up to punch him in the face.
‘Lucky I had her on the lead as I pulled him out of the way and I shouted ‘watch out’ at him because he nearly killed my dog. Next thing I knew he just got up and punched me.
‘I’ve got no doubt he was aiming for my dog then he jumped up and hit me like he didn’t need it.’
Mr Oates – who pays £350 per month for his pitch outside Co-Op where he has been for two years – said: ‘I was just here with my dog around a month ago and I could see him steering toward her.
Staff at the Country Cottage Bakery confirmed Mr Kirkham is a regular customer there.

He said: ‘I know of him, he has a Jekyll and Hyde personality and can turn nasty. But you don’t expect that from somebody in a mobility scooter.
‘If things don’t go his way he makes them go his way. It’s not something you expect somewhere like Bideford though.’
In the video clip Mr Kirkham can be seen holding his walking stick while controlling his vehicle with one hand.
Another person then shouts: ‘I said do you want help.’
The man replies but it is difficult to make out his response.
Seconds later he appears to drive his mobility scooter at another man, forcing him to fall over a sign.
Someone then screams: ‘You dare! You just knocked him over!’
Police confirmed enquiries are ongoing.
