TWO teenagers are dead and a third fighting for life following a horror crash in West Yorkshire.

A white Audi A3 is believed to have smashed into a telegraph pole after coming off the A6120 in Leeds at around 3.28am today.


An 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman were pronounced dead at the scene on Parkside Road, in Meanwood, north of the city.

Another passenger, an 18-year-old man, was taken to hospital and remains in a critical condition following the early morning horror.

A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving on the westbound ring road.

A scene and road closure are in place and officers from the Major Collision Enquiry Team are investigating the incident.
