17-Year-Old Pregnant Cheerleader Murdered After Speaking With Her Baby’s Father

A pregnant Indiana cheerleader was killed by her child’s father when he realized she was carrying his baby.

17-year-old Breana Rouhselang was a cheerleader at Mishawaka High School in Indiana as well as a softball coach and manager of the football team. After realizing she was pregnant, she left her home to speak with the baby’s father and never returned. 16-year-old Aaron Trejo, a football player and the alleged father of Rouhselang’s unborn infant, reportedly killed her upon finding out the news, according to People.

When Rouhselang first went missing, police searched the area around her Mishawaka home where she was last seen. The found what they believed to be a variety of her personal items, including a bloody hat and glasses. They used these clues to locate the teens body in a dumpster of a nearby restaurant near her home.

Trejo originally proclaimed his innocence telling police that he had arranged to meet with Rouhselang but that she had never showed up. As the evidence piled up against him, he eventually admitted to stabbing her in her heart with a knife he brought to their meeting. He had grown angry upon learning of the pregnancy and realized that it was too late to get an abortion. Thus, he decided to take matters into his own hands. “I took action, I took her life,” he told police according to an affidavit. After hiding her body, he said he tried to cover up his crime by throwing Rouhselang’s cell phone and the murder weapon into a nearby river.

Trejo is facing charges for the murder of both Rouhselang and her unborn child with whom she was six months pregnant. The cheerleader’s family is in disbelief regarding the death of their young daughter. They said that she loved sports and enjoyed being actively involved in many activities at her high school. Her step-mother Nicole began a GoFundMe page to offset funeral expenses and take a small fraction of stress away from her parents. “This is such a hard tragedy to accept! This loving young lady was so full of life and didn’t deserve this.” she wrote. She also encouraged the public to keep the teens parents in their thoughts and prayers. “No one can ever be prepared for a loss like this,” she said.

Although the goal for the GoFundMe page was set at only $100, it reached over $4,000 in just one day. Over 100 people contributed to the fundraiser, offering condolences to the heartbroken family. Mishawaka Community Schools Superintendent Dr. A. Dean Speicher also spoke out regarding the murder calling it a “tragic loss.”

Inside Kourtney Kardashian and Sofia Richie's Complicated Relationship on Kardashians

Getty Images

Kourtney Kardashian is keeping it cordial.

As the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star continues to co-parent with Scott Disick, there’s one lady that has entered the picture and isn’t going away. Yes, we’re talking about Sofia Richie.

While the model has been dating Scott for more than a year, we haven’t exactly seen Kourtney hanging out with Sofia on the regular.

Sure, there was a dinner at Nobu in Malibu last month. They also found themselves checking out the ArtLife Gallery’s Street Dreams exhibition at the same time later in the month.

But for those wondering just how close—or apart—these two are, E! News may have some answers.

“Kourtney has accepted the dynamic of Sofia being Scott’s serious girlfriend, but isn’t interested in having a close relationship with her. Kourtney is only interested in co-parenting with Scott and their dynamic with the kids,” a source shared with E! News. “Kourtney likes to do activities with the kids with Scott only and doesn’t usually love to have Sofia around. She is fine now with Sofia being with the kids when she is with Scott, but doesn’t feel they need to all do group things together.”

Over the weekend, Kourtney and Scott got into the holiday spirit by visiting Universal Studios Hollywood.

The reality star also recently posted a photo with Penelope Disick and her father when they were hanging out at home.

“Scott and Kourtney have a great relationship right now and have been spending a huge amount of time together with the kids recently. Kourtney is aware that it’s definitely been bothersome to Sofia, but she does not care,” our source continued. “Scott and Kourtney are really getting along and there hasn’t been an issue between the two in a long time.”

While Sofia and Scott’s romantic relationship remains strong, another insider says it “definitely bothers” the model when she sees her man spending so much time with Kourtney.

“It’s tough for her dealing with the fact that Scott has to interact with Kourtney often,” a separate source shared. “Sofia and Scott’s relationship is solid right now and they do spend a lot of time together, but Sofia does get insecure at times and Scott has to reassure her.”

One thing working to Sofia’s benefit is her blossoming relationship with Penelope, Reign and Mason Disick.

With the help of time, Kourtney has realized that it’s okay for her kids to hang out with Scott’s leading lady.

“Sofia has a really nice relationship with Scott’s kids and she has gotten to know them well. Kourtney has warmed up to Sofia a little bit more than in the beginning and they are all trying to make it work,” another source shared. “It’s definitely challenging for Sofia. Kourtney has a lot of rules and expectations she wants followed.”

The insider added, “She’s always felt that Kourtney is Scott’s one true love. Being around her is not Sofia’s favorite thing. But she loves Scott and wants to be with him so she knows this is part of the deal.”

While the family’s Christmas plans aren’t being revealed just yet, it’s hard to ignore the fact that Kourtney and Scott celebrated Thanksgiving together at a house in Palm Springs, Calif.

As for Kris Jenner‘s infamous Christmas Eve party—that will now be held at Kim Kardashian and Kanye West‘s house—fans are wondering if Sofia will receive an invite.

Keep up and stay tuned!

Despite Offset‘s recent admission on Instagram that he misses Cardi B, Cardi is still angry over the rumored cheating scandal he’s in the center of. Pop’s No. 1 chameleon wasn’t Bowie — it’s good old Sir Cliff!

Pop’s No. 1 chameleon wasn’t Bowie — it’s good old Sir Cliff! CHRISTOPHER STEVENS reviews last night’s TV

Sir Cliff Richard: 60 Years In Public And In Private

Rating:

Nadiya’s Asian Odyssey

Rating:

Cliff’s a perennial. Never changes, the Peter Pan of Pop, just the same as he was in the Fifties, etc.

So the real surprise of Sir Cliff Richard: 60 Years In Public And In Private (ITV) was to realise just how often Britain’s original rock’n’roller has reinvented himself.

From the moment clean-cut Harry Webb changed his name and shook his hips to Move It, with a kiss curl and an Elvis sneer, he has turned chameleon more often than David Bowie.

Christian rocker, family entertainer, American idol, West End star, Christmas balladeer and now pop’s elder statesman: that’s quite a repertoire.

The real surprise of Sir Cliff Richard: 60 Years In Public And In Private (ITV) was to realise just how often Britain’s original rock’n’roller has reinvented himself

This frank documentary warned at the start that little would be revealed. ‘I quite like the word ‘enigma’,’ Cliff said. ‘I don’t see why people should know everything about you.’

In fact, he held little back. His longtime companion John McElynn was introduced, with the caption ‘close friend’, when the former Catholic priest could easily have remained in the background.

Cliff talked movingly about his late mother Dorothy’s dementia, and how she could recognise his public persona but not her own son: she used to call him ‘that Cliff Richard’ to his face.

His favourite dream, he added, was one where his father Rodger, who died 50 years ago, was still alive: ‘I haven’t had that dream in a long time,’ he added wistfully.

All this was said as he showed the cameras round his private retreat, a villa and 30-acre estate on the Algarve in Portugal.

This doesn’t seem like the behaviour of a secretive man. But it is the reaction of a naturally open man who has been badly wounded by people he trusted.

In Nadiya’s Asian Odyssey the Bake Off star discovers the places where her ancestors lived

Four years ago the BBC named him as the focus of a historic sex abuse inquiry, and streamed live footage of a police raid on his home: it was the most public and flagrant trial by television this country has ever seen.

All the allegations were later proved baseless.

Cliff is still traumatised by the betrayal. As he pointed out, BBC staff had worked closely with him for more than half a century.

If there had ever been a breath of scandal about him, people at Broadcasting House would have known.

Even now, he’s too polite to point out how many executives must have heard rumours about paedophiles Jimmy Savile, Rolf Harris and others, and done nothing. The Corporation’s hypocrisy is staggering.

The presenter tried her hand at pottery and kung fu before cooking pakora, buffalo kebabs and other local delicacies

Famous friends who have stood by him throughout paid tribute. What the show lacked was a proper assessment of his music.

In all pop history, only Paul McCartney can rival him for sheer volume of lightweight, hummable hits. In time, all the nastiness of the false claims will be a footnote, but the songs will remain.

If ladies of a certain age often love Cliff, grannies everywhere adore Nadiya Hussain.

The Bake Off star, discovering the places where her ancestors lived in Nadiya’s Asian Odyssey (BBC1), was petted and patted across half the continent.

In Nepal, an elderly farmer’s wife couldn’t stop cooing and stroking Nadiya’s face as she quizzed her about her husband and children.

If the cook hadn’t been happily married before she set off on her adventure, village matchmakers would have snapped her up for an instant wedding to a local lad.

This was an inconsequential travelogue, in which the presenter tried her hand at pottery and kung fu before cooking pakora, buffalo kebabs and other local delicacies.

We learned little, except that Britain isn’t the only nation that loves Nadiya.

Beyoncé Likely Made Bank As The Wedding Singer In India This Weekend

In news that falls clearly in the “A check is a check” category, Beyoncé taught us all that she’ll do more than Coachella if the price is right. One of Priyanka Chopra’s bridesmaids apparently won’t need to make a Bumble appearance to pay off her own wedding catering bill because her gazillionaire dad managed to pay for Bey to come and be the damn warm-up singer at a pre-wedding bash. Who headlined?! The actual voice of God??

TMZ reminds us all that celebrities can pick up an easy million bucks if they make an appearance and warble out two or three hits at private party, so that’s why you’ve seen A-listers slumming it at afternoon Bar Mitzvahs. Of course, this was no mere wedding of a couple with more money than sense. The bride, Isha Abmani, is the daughter of Mukesh Abmani, the richest dude in India. He owns an oil and gas company and has a net worth somewhere in the ballpark of $42 billion. Bey seemed to see a good source of easy income and a chance to play dress up. See for yourself:

Donald Trump Thinks It’s A ‘Real Possibility’ He Will Be Impeached Over Stormy Daniels Payment, Report Claims

Donald Trump has publicly scoffed at the Russia investigation as “fake news” and a witch hunt, but in private is growing fearful that he could actually be impeached over his hush money payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels and the lies that followed in an attempt to cover it up, a new report claims.

A source close to the White House told CNN correspondent Jim Acosta that Trump believes he can weather the storm of the impending Russia report, but fears that the payment to Daniels is “the only issue that may stick.” Trump’s former lawyer, Michael Cohen, had already been convicted of a campaign finance violation for the payment and new court filings indicate that Cohen was working at the direct order of Donald Trump.

Daniels received a payment in the final days of the 2016 presidential election to remain quiet about the alleged affair, which she claims took place in the months after the birth of Donald Trump’s youngest son.

A number of experts and political figures on both sides of the aisle have said that the recent revelations directly connecting Trump with the plot to pay off Stormy Daniels and cover it up will lead to an eventual indictment against the president. As CNN reported, Democrat Adam Schiff, who will soon have wide powers to investigate Trump as incoming chair of the House Intelligence Committee, believes that Trump could be indicted as soon as he leaves office.

“My takeaway is there’s a very real prospect that on the day Donald Trump leaves office the Justice Department may indict him, that he may be the first President in quite some time to face the real prospect of jail time,” Schiff said in an appearance on Face the Nation in regard to Trump’s connection to the Stormy Daniels payment.

As the report noted, Trump is increasingly fearful that he will be impeached over the payment but holds out hope that the Republican-controlled Senate can save him.

“The campaign finance issue tied to the alleged mistresses is not viewed as having the firepower to trigger a bipartisan vote for conviction and removal in the Senate,” the source said.

But these estimates are based on what White House officials believe that Robert Mueller’s investigation has in the way of direct evidence against Donald Trump, the report noted. If the final report on the Russia investigation were to strongly and directly implicate Donald Trump either in a plot to collude with Russia or to cover up the involvement, the situation could change.

When a restaurant near Grenfell Tower held a fundraising evening for child survivors of the horrific fire, locals gave generously.

Sympathetic diners put in hundreds of pounds for youngsters who had lost loved ones.

But when a year went by and there was still no sign of the donations being handed over to any Grenfell charity, the manager of Rum Kitchen in Notting Hill found himself facing questions.

And when he was challenged over the money, George Nelson said he still had it, adding: ‘I took it because I needed it a lot more than the people of Grenfell.

George Nelson, manager of Rum Kitchen in Notting Hill, found himself facing questions when the money he had raised for Grenfell’s child survivors was not handed over

At the time they didn’t matter that much to me.’

Now, after a Daily Mail investigation, £2,056 from the whip-round has finally been handed over to a charity helping children deal with bereavement – and Mr Nelson has been dismissed from his job.

Yesterday Rum Kitchen, which runs a chain of Caribbean restaurants, thanked the Daily Mail.

A spokesman said: ‘Following the terrible events at Grenfell Tower, colleagues at our Notting Hill branch – many of whom knew Grenfell residents – wanted to help in any way they could, including providing food and drink to the emergency services and putting on a fundraising event that raised more than £2,000.

‘The Rum Kitchen is satisfied the money raised was donated to a charity supporting those affected, but was concerned to learn the employee entrusted with making the donation did not do so within an acceptable timeframe.

‘We are grateful that this was brought to our attention. The employee no longer works for the company.’

The restaurant held the fundraising event eight days after the fire at Grenfell Tower in west London in June 2017

Rum Kitchen’s Notting Hill restaurant held the fundraising event eight days after the fire at Grenfell Tower in west London in June 2017, which killed 72. Diners were asked to donate at least £10.

A Rum Kitchen insider said: ‘Some guests were being very generous, giving donations of £20 and £30 during the evening. But what happened to the money?’

Some 17 months after the fire, the insider challenged Mr Nelson, who is in his twenties. In a recording of their conversation Mr Nelson says: ‘OK, I’ll give the money to charity. I took it because I needed it a lot more than the people of Grenfell.

At the time they didn’t matter that much to me. It’s not the best thing I’ve ever done, for sure. I’ve got the money now.’

The Mail met Mr Nelson at Rum Kitchen’s Carnaby Street restaurant, where he was then working as general manager.

He denied keeping the money or saying he had needed it more than Grenfell survivors.

He said the cash had been handed to a charity and claimed this happened in December 2017.

He offered to produce a receipt to prove it, but after ten days the receipt he showed the Mail had the date torn off the top right-hand corner.

The well-established Child Bereavement UK charity confirmed it had accepted the donation as part of the Support 4 Grenfell Community Hub organisation formed after the fire.

14 charged, 11 jailed: The full extent of Grenfell Tower fraud claims

Hospital worker Koffi Kouakou has become the 11th person jailed after Grenfell.

He swindled £24,572 worth of handouts when he was put up in a hotel for three months.

He told the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea that he had been living in flat 115 with Zainab Deen, which officers soon discovered was a lie.

Bangladeshi Mohammed Syed Rinku claimed he was in a gay relationship with a resident of the 20th floor of the west London block and his boyfriend had died in the blaze.

But when he was asked about his affair by the police, it became clear he had researched who had died in the fire. Officers then found heterosexual porn and dating apps on his phone.

The 46-year-old was jailed for 18 months for the fraud.

Anh Nhu Nguyen pretended his wife and 12-year-old son were killed in the blaze so he could claim charity handouts.

He pocketed £11,270 as he was put up in hotels and given clothing, laptops and cash.

But police discovered the 53-year-old had 28 convictions for 56 offences spanning more than 30 years, including theft, dishonesty offences, arson and grievous bodily harm.

Nguyen, who was born in Vietnam, even tried to apply for a passport by claiming his had been incinerated. He was jailed for 21 months in February.

Another fraudster, Anh Nhu Nguyen, met Prince Charles during his time posing as a victim

Elaine Douglas and Tommy Brooks falsely claimed they lived in Grenfell Tower to claim more than £120,000.

The illegal immigrants spent eight months living in a four-star hotel, with taxpayers footing the £400-a-night bill.

They also spent more than £20,000 on meals and clothing on pre-paid credit cards which were given to them by Kensington and Chelsea council.

The pair entered Britain illegally from Jamaica 16 years ago on separate flights and were ordered to leave by immigration officials only to vanish – reappearing in the aftermath of the Grenfell tragedy last year.

Douglas, 51, was jailed for a total of three years while Brooks, 52, received a sentence of three years and three months.

Joyce Msokeri falsely claimed to have lost her husband in the blaze so that she could claim thousands of pounds.

The conwoman travelled 14 miles from her own flat to the tower block and convinced charity workers she had survived the inferno.

She feigned trauma to obtain handouts of £19,000 in cash, food, clothing, three mobile phones and free stays at a Hilton hotel. The 47-year-old would have received £203,000 in handouts if she had not been caught.

When Msokeri, from Zimbabwe, kept giving them different numbers for her flat in the tower block, her apparent forgetfulness was put down to trauma. She was jailed for four-and-a-half years in April.

Mohammad Gamoota is pictured

Mohammad Gamoota trawled a list of the dead then told officials his father was Abdeslam Sebbar, who had died after becoming trapped in his flat.

The 31-year-old said he had survived only because he was attending midnight prayers at his mosque when the inferno took hold.

In reality, he was not related to Mr Sebbar, 77, and did not live in Grenfell Tower, but took the details from a newspaper.

Two days later, Gamoota presented himself as a bereaved relative. He was given £500 and booked into a Holiday Inn hotel where he racked up a £374 room service bill.

He tried to claim a further £5,000 – but a technical issue with his bank account prevented the money being paid in. He was jailed for 18 months.

Yonatan Eyob falsely claimed £81,000 in cash and free hotel stays, as well as £11,000 towards a new permanent home.

Eyob claimed he had lived alone in a flat that actually contained a family of five who perished in Britain’s worst fire for a generation.

Neighbours said he didn’t and CCTV proved he had never been there.

He was later charged with dishonestly making a false representation for accommodation and subsistence between June 2017 and June 2018.

The 26-year-old pleaded guilty and was jailed for more than six years.

Council worker Jenny McDonagh blew money for victims on holidays and meals out

Jenny McDonagh stole pre-paid cash cards while working as manager of the Grenfell Fire fund at the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

In total she took about £62,000 from pre-paid cash cards meant for several survivors, including Fadumo Ahmed, Sacha Salaabi and Christos Fairbairn, the court heard.

The money was spent on online gambling and foreign holidays.

She was jailed for five-and-a-half years.

Antonio Gouveia, 33, lied about escaping the inferno.

The fraudster claimed to be the flatmate of 80-year-old Hermine Harris who was living in the block of flats on the night of the tragedy which left 72 people dead in June 2017.

He has been jailed for three years.

Abdelkarim Rekaya, 28, took advantage of the government’s policy of providing amnesty for illegal immigrants living in the gutted tower block in June last year.

He had been in the country since 2009 and by 2010 he had been cautioned by police for trying to steal bicycle.

Rekaya first claimed he was living in flat four when the inferno claimed the lives of 72 residents.

He later changed his story to say he was homeless and sleeping in the stairwell of the 11th and 12th floor.

Shortly after the blaze he was put up in a luxury Chelsea hotel at a cost of £60,000 for just under a year.

Judge Robin Jonathan warned him he faced a ‘substantial custodial sentence.’

Diane Kruger Spills On Newborn’s Gender, Talks About Parenting Insight

AceShowbiz
Diane Kruger is opening up about her first child with boyfriend Norman Reedus, revealing the couple has welcomed a baby girl.

The highly-private couple welcomed the baby recently, but no specific details about the tot’s arrival, gender, or name have been released. However, Diane was asked about the baby during a new interview for her film “Welcome to Marwen” and she gave a little insight on how she is handling being a new mum.

“It’s very rewarding,” she tells U.S. news show “Extra”. “She’s very little, but I’m tired. I feel like a superhero right now.”

Diane also opened up about how she would handle her daughter’s future fashion choices, revealing she would let her dye her hair different colours – like her character’s turquoise hair in the film.

“Go for it – I wish my mom would have allowed me to do that,” she continues.

The German actress met “The Walking Dead” star Reedus on the set of 2015 movie “Sky“, but they were not linked romantically until late 2016, and they only went public with the relationship in early 2017. In May, Diane sparked speculation she was pregnant, after turning her back on her typical high fashion, form-fitting outfits in favour of oversized gowns at the Cannes Film Festival in France.

This is Diane’s first kid, while Norman is already father to a son named Mingus, 19, from his relationship with Danish supermodel Helena Christensen.

Diane was previously married to French actor Guillaume Canet from 2001 and 2006, and was in a long-term relationship with “Dawson’s Creek” star Joshua Jackson between 2006 and 2016.
