An extreme tattoo fan has revealed that his full body suit is close to completion – he’s already inked his chest, back, legs and bum.
Paul, a shop manager and DJ from Berlin, has been working on his huge tattoo for two years.
His dark ink work stretches from his neck down to his feet – though he has left his hands and face clear.
The 33-year-old creative shares photos of his progress on Instagram, @bodysuit_in_progress, where he has thousands of followers.
His artistic shots are often taken by photographer @andreagalad.
Paul, who has one session left before his ink is complete, shared his reasons for the body suit with Daily Star Online.

The German DJ said: “I was always dreaming about [the bodysuit] but I also thought a very long time that I couldn’t handle the pain and the struggle to get a full suit.
“I did some tattoos here and there but then I finally met @jonie_jones_tattoo, fell in love with our ideas and accepted the challenge.”
“It took like two years of getting tattooed every three weeks for about six hours each time and it was definitely a hard process, but somehow, I managed to survive.”
Paul claims that he doesn’t get too many negative comments about his body suit and it doesn’t affect his career.
He commented: “I am a very open-minded, friendly and peaceful person.
“So, I try to deal with the prejudices some people might have and also help to reduce them, but usually people are more interested than disgusted.
“I wouldn’t, but I think I could, do a ‘normal’ bank-job because if I wear a long sleeves you can’t see how heavily tattooed I am.
“I don’t have face, neck or hand-tattoos (yet).”
While many with extreme body modifications claim they enjoy the sensation of being tattooed, Paul feels more pain than pleasure.
He told us: “I don’t have a high pain tolerance but my rule was not to take any painkiller creams or pills so I can tell you: It was a hell of a ride."

Paul added: “The most painful areas for me have been: nipples (short time but pain level 11… out of 10), lower back and ribs where I cried tears, for sure the area around the anus, the perineum and armpits.
“You must deserve your tattoos!”
Despite his unusual look, Paul’s family support him in his journey.
He said: “My friends and family all think I am little bit crazy, but they understand that it’s about (body-) art and they fully support me.
“I think my partner had to make the biggest restrictions because it’s not only the tattooing itself, it’s also the healing-time the days after which sometimes made me a little bit unusable for physical activities.”
Through his tattoos, Paul says that he has learned a lot about himself.
He added: “Now I know that I can reach nearly every goal if I bring enough dedication and willpower into it.
“I think this learnings will also influence other parts of my life.
“If your dreams don’t scare you, they are to small.”
