She may be seven months pregnant, but Meghan Markle certainly hasn’t let that slow her down.
Since the start of the year the Duchess of Sussex, 37, has barely stopped, carrying out a string of royal engagements on behalf of her four new patronages as well as an overseas trip to Morocco with Prince Harry – not to mention her New York baby shower.
Meghan reportedly intends to continue working right up until the birth of her first child in April – but her incredible work ethic has left broadcaster Vanessa Feltz alarmed.
The TV and radio personality, 57, has accused the duchess of ‘setting the bar much too high’ for ordinary pregnant women, with a schedule she described as ‘impossible torture’.

Vanessa was speaking in relation to her own pregnant daughter Saskia Kurer, 30, who is 34 weeks and due around the same time as Meghan.
She told Yahoo UK’s The Royal Box she couldn’t imagine what it would be like if Saskia ‘had to appear and roll herself out for public display, and also for public deconstruction.

‘She’s setting the bar so high, much too high,’ she concluded.
Mum-of-two Vanessa has previously spoken in support of Harry and Meghan’s plan to take a ‘fluid approach’ to child rearing.
Royal author Katie Nicholl said the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who claim publicly that they don’t know the gender of their baby, ‘will not enforce any male or female stereotypes’.
Last month Meghan and Harry travelled to Morocco for a three-day royal visit, during which they visited the Andalusian Gardens to hear about youth empowerment from a number of young social entrepreneurs

Writing in her Express column, Vanessa said parents, whatever their intention, bring up ‘individuals not symbols’.
‘Our job as parents is to be as “fluid” in our response to our children’s personalities as they will have to be about ours,’ she said.
Earlier today Meghan made a surprise appearance on stage beside Prince Harry, 34, at an event celebrating young people.
The former actress gazed adoringly at her husband as he delivered an empowering speech to thousands of screaming youngsters at the SSE Arena in Wembley, London.
