1. Emmerdale: Is Cain about to crack? (Monday at 7pm on ITV)
Still convinced that he’s the one responsible for Joe’s demise, the guilt is weighing heavily on Cain’s shoulders. Unable to carry on watching Debbie mope over a man she believes is alive, Cain starts distancing himself from her. Moira is worried that her hubby is only making matters worse, and tells him that he can’t carry on avoiding Debs.
But soon alarm bells are ringing when Cain informs his missus that he’s ready to ease his conscience and confess to his daughter that he murdered the man she was about to marry. Can Moira talk Cain round and prevent him from making one of the biggest mistakes of his life?
2. EastEnders: Alfie discovers he’s a daddy (Monday at 8pm on BBC One)
Alfie is back in the Square this week, and top of his agenda is winning back Kat’s heart. But just as the estranged couple seem to be sorting out their differences, Mr Moon’s knocked for six to discover that Hayley went through with keeping their baby.
Reeling in shock after meeting his baby daughter for the first time, Alfie waits until the coast is clear, then demands some answers from Hayley. But when Kat interrupts their conversation, the pair are forced to cover.
Later, Alfie begs Hayley to let him be part of his little girl’s life. But she’s in no mood to play happy families, telling Alfie to keep his distance otherwise she’ll tell Kat everything. How long before this ticking time bomb explodes?
3. Coronation Street: Sinead’s dealt a cruel blow (Friday at 7.30pm on ITV)
Unable to face her fears and attend her chemo sessions, cancer-stricken Sinead continues to hide the truth from an oblivious Daniel. The mum-to-be is able to momentarily forget her troubles when she and Daniel attend a scan for their unborn baby. But with her web of lies growing increasingly tangled, Sinead finds herself ‘fessing up to Billy that she’s been skipping her life-saving hospital appointments.
As Billy persuades his pal to be brave and accept treatment, Sinead’s shattered to discover her friend Steff’s cancer has spread and she’s been given just days to live. Will this be the tragic wake-up call Sinead needs to take action?
4. Hollyoaks: Mandy suffers a miscarriage? (Monday at 7pm on E4 and Tuesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4)
When Mandy wins £200 on a scratch card, Darren’s dangerous addiction rears its ugly head again as he swipes the card and heads to the casino night at The Loft. The following morning, Dazza is economical with the truth when Mandy questions the whereabouts of her scratch card. Will she discover he’s been gambling again?
Later, after things turn ugly during Darren and Nancy’s mediation session, Nancy is shocked to discover a distressed Mandy in the toilets, convinced she’s losing her unborn baby.
With Darren AWOL, Nancy accompanies Mandy to the hospital, but there’s further anguish when the doctors reveal her test results have shown something very worrying. Will her unborn tot be okay?
5. Neighbours: Chloe makes her move (Tuesday at 12.45pm and 6pm on Channel 5)
Smitten Chloe goes behind her brother Mark’s back when she plants a shock kiss on his girlfriend Elly’s lips. The unplanned pash happens during an intense heart-to-heart, but Chloe later tries to brush it off.
The next day, and with Mark’s Huntington’s test results looming, Elly makes an impulsive decision as she pops the question to her man. Overwhelmed by her act of devotion, Mark happily accepts, and soon there’s cause for a double celebration when he gets given the all clear. But how will Chloe react to news of Mark and Elly’s engagement, given her growing feelings for her future sister-in-law?
6. Emmerdale: Maya and Jacob’s shock kiss (Monday at 7pm on ITV)
Jacob is left feeling like the village idiot when Liv makes him admit that he lied about them being a couple. After witnessing the teen’s public humiliation, Maya follows him home and asks if he fibbed about his romance with Liv in a bid to make her jealous. As embarrassed Jacob confirms her suspicions, Maya oversteps the mark and starts kissing David’s underage stepson. But it doesn’t take long for the regret to kick in when she realises that she would lose her job if the truth came out.
In a bid to keep her distance, Maya packs her bags and moves out, while begging Jacob to keep quiet about what she did. But will he be able to keep their sordid secret from David?
7. EastEnders: Mel’s on a mission (Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One)
Mel’s revenge plan against cheating scumbag Ray steps up a gear when she meets up with his secret wife Maddie in a bid to extract information on the wily Irishman’s whereabouts. After manipulating Maddie into talking, Mel waits outside a pub for Ray to appear, but nothing can prepare her for what she sees.
The following day, vengeful Mel nicks Ray’s warrant card, and meets with Maddie again to reveal her true identity. Maddie is fuming to realise she’s being made a fool of, but Mel convinces her they need to play the long game. However, the women aren’t alone, as someone has spied their conversation. Who could it be?
8. Coronation Street: Nick strikes a deal? (Friday 7th December at 7.30pm on ITV)
Shona plays cupid when she locks Nick and Leanne in the cafe, in a bid to get the estranged lovers to kiss and make up. It seems to do the trick as the couple reignite the flames of passion, but there’s still one rather large obstacle standing in their way of a happy ever after – Elsa.
Knowing what he needs to do in order to secure his future with Leanne, Nick pays his wife a visit and agrees to pay back every penny of the £40,000 he stole from her, as long as she keeps Leanne’s name out of their divorce proceedings. Will Elsa agree, and can Nick keep to his side of the bargain and find a way to cough up five figures of cash?
9. Hollyoaks: Cindy and Marnie join forces (Monday at 7pm on E4 and Tuesday at 6.30pm in on Channel 4)
Cindy returns to the village to make a rather grim discovery – skanky Donna-Marie with her feet well and truly under the Cunninghams’ kitchen table. Disgusted that Mac has allowed her to move in, seething Cind is tipped over the edge when she sees Donna-Marie walking around in one of Dirk’s old shirts.
Hell bent on seeing the back of Romeo’s wayward mum, Cindy finds an unlikely ally in Marnie, who also wants Donna-Marie well out of the way. As the ladies put their plan into action, searching for evidence to get rid of the unwanted lodger, they’re stopped in their tracks by an unexpected arrival. Has someone rumbled their scheme already?
