I’m A Celeb viewers left ‘stunned’ as Matt Hancock makes it to final four

I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! viewers were left struggling to understand the latest eviction developments as 44 year old Matt Hancock made it into the final four campmates over comedian Seann Walsh, 36.

There was also panic as hosts Ant and Dec announced not only was the former Health Secretary not in the bottom two, but previously fan-favourite Owen Warner was up against Seann too.

As the stand-up comic said his goodbyes, viewers were bewildered by the realisation that the show's notoriously divisive Conservative MP has made it into the final four alongside Lioness footballer Jill Scott, rugby ace Mike Tindall and Hollyoaks actor Owen.

What's more, fans were disappointed Seann wouldn't be taking part in the series' most highly-anticipated Bushtucker Trial – the celebrity cyclone.

Every year the last campmates standing do their best in a chaotic trial that creates the best entertainment yet.

Viewers flocked to Twitter to share their confusion.

"WHO VOTED FOR MATT INSTEAD OF OWEN!!!!!! #ImACeleb" one angry fan commented.

Another person yelled: "'WHAT DO YOU MEAN ‘MATT IT ISN’T YOU’ #ImACeleb."

While a fourth person wrote: "Honestly stunned that Matt made it this far but glad it wasn't Seann for the cyclone!! Would've been useless! #ImACeleb #ImACelebrityGetMeOutOfHere #ImACelebrity."

"i CANNOT believe matt f***ing hancock is in the final 4 and doing the cyclone.

"Seann should be doing it. #ImACeleb #ImACelebrity," a fifth added, followed by: "OWEN OVER MATT? THIS IS SHAMBOLIC #ImACeleb."

One person decided to brave the masses and explain why they've been voting for the MP throughout this year's series, citing how determined and positive he's been in the camp.

"All the votes for Matt. He hasn’t b***hed, moaned or bullied a single person in there. He’s done all the tasks, remained pleasant and amiable throughout," they insisted. "That’s why he’s more popular than you Chris Moyles. He’s everything you’re not."

As the remaining campmates get to grips with the fact they've nearly made it to the final, ITV gears up for its biggest challenge yet.

While Jill has become the favourite to win the entire show this year, Mike could swipe it from the footballer.

I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues Saturday and Sunday at 9pm on ITV
