Two years after Christmas market attack, Germans feel safer

For many people, the sense of Germany being a target is fading.

    As Germany remembered the victims to mark the second anniversary of the attack on Berlin’s Christmas Market on Thursday, people now feel the city is more secure since the incident.

    Security and police checks have since been stepped up. For many people, the sense of their country being a target is fading.
